Quercetin is a flavonoid found in onions, apples, berries, and green tea, widely used for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has gained attention in the longevity space as a senolytic — compounds that selectively clear damaged senescent cells — particularly in combination with dasatinib in clinical trials at Mayo Clinic. Quercetin has low natural bioavailability, and some products use phytosome delivery (quercetin bound to phospholipids) to improve absorption.
